The Immaculate Conception

1882
Stained Glass
Church of the Assumption, Windsor, Ontario, Canada

The moon at Mary's feet and the stars in her halo identify this as an Immaculate Conception, although one expects the number of stars to be twelve. The light flowing from above may refer to the phrase in Revelation 12:1, "a woman clothed with the sun."
